J'aime beaucoup cette poissonnerie - j'ai toujours decouverte des fruits de mer qui je veux essayer et faire cuisiner, et les poissonniers sont assez gentil et bien informé sur les moyens de préparation et recettes qu'ils me suggerent.
Tous les produits sont assez frais et bien traité.
I love this fishmonger - nested snugly in the middle of the busy Marché Mouffetard (Mouffetard Market) street, it's probably one of my favourite go-to places in my neighborhood. It's a great feeling to have access to such fresh produce, so close to home, and the fishmongers are always lovely and patient with me while I try to figure out how to explain what I want to buy!
They also have cooking suggestions and are very knowledgeable about each kind of fish. Everything is handled and displayed very well. I've bought codfish and, on an indulgent whim, scallops, which were very good indeed with their naturally subtle sweet flavour accompanied by some white wine, parsley, and garlic butter!
I had a bit of a scallop phase in November where I was obsessed with trying to cook them just right! Here are the scallops I bought from Poissonnerie Mouffetard, which I cooked at home.
