Brasserie Dubillot
Paris 75002

The Brasserie Dubillot is one of my favourite restaurants in Paris. I've been twice so far and it never disappoints. Although I haven't visited a lot of other restaurants here yet on my bucket list, when I tried their onion soup, it was like heaven on earth.!!

I love that the interior is so cosy and welcoming, and the same goes for the staff who will patiently and kindly explain everything on the menu (which is in French and English). The Brasserie does a fresh take on classic brasserie dishes, and everything we tried was pretty much excellent. A 'brasserie' is a casual French restaurant that serves single dishes, and other meals - the word itself is derived from the original term 'brewery' - open from Wednesday to Sunday from day till late evening. Typical plats (main dishes) you might expect to be served at a Brasserie could include steak frites (steak and chips), Croque Monsieur (sandwich with ham and cheese, served with salad on the side), or their daily Plat du Jour (the chef's daily special).
